Another Malaysia Airline flight heading to Incheon, South Korea was diverted to Hong Kong early Monday as it faced glitches with its electrical supply said an airline’s spokesperson.
The passengers of the Airbus A330-300 landed uneventfully in Hong Kong and the passenger were transferred to another flight.
It has been said that an aircraft generator supplying normal electric power to the aircraft became inoperative. However the electric power continued to be supplied by the plane’s auxiliary power unit.
With Malaysia Airlines so much in focus after the disappearance of the Flight 370 carrying 239 people on board another technical snag may prove to be damaging for the Airline’s reputation.
The MH 370 flightwas on its way to Beijing from Kuala Lumpur when it vanished over Southeast Asia. No traces of the plane have been found till this date despite rigorous search operation being carried out by more than 20 countries.
