Dear BUSINESS Owner’s -suppliers, subcontractors etc. – IS your leadership demonstrative enough to stomach the truth and do something about it?

LOCKHEED’S shakedown – by sitting on the IAF (International Accreditation Forums-board) as a voting member on policy- http://www.iaf.nu/articles/Assoc_Mem_USA_IAQG/156
Where is the leadership?- Shouldn’t a business owner have the right to choose the registrar of choice rather than the one LOCKHEED who SITS ON THE BOARD OF- IAF AND MAKES POLICY and chooses FOR YOU- ANSI-ASQ (American National Standards Institute & American National Accreditation Board-ANAB sister company.
Lockheed associate-member: http://www.iaf.nu/articles/IAF_after_20_years/271
“While primarily an association of accreditation bodies for conformity assessment, association members at IAF enjoy voting privileges and positions on the IAF Board and IAF Executive Committee thereby being able to “influence IAF policy”.

Basically, LOCKHEED suppliers, subcontractors, etc whose Registrars/CB’s are accredited by ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board -ANAB, indirectly pay $45,000 per registration scheme (ANNUALLY ) which is industry dependent, each scheme example: ( ISO 9001. AS 9100, TS 16949, ISO 13485 = ($180,000 K x each registrar)
(Fee Schedule for Accreditation Programs for Management Systems Certification Bodies ref FM 5300 pg 4 of4) (http://aboac.org/FM5300.pdf )to utilize the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board-ANAB, LOGO for each registration scheme THIS is the entry FEE to get into the IAF.

It’s a SHAKEDOWN from the 1930s what LOCKHEED and other aerospace companies do.

Is Lockheed’s quality any better? – NO

NOT REALLY -EVEN WITH ALL THIS OVERSIGHT- OY VEY!!

Lockheed Martin -from being a voting on policy- member on the INTERNATIONAL ACCREDITATION FORUMS BOARD (IAF) the sister company of ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board-ANAB the accreditation body looking at them and their subcontractors-

IF YOUR COMPANY IS ISO,AS, TS CERTIFIED AND ACCREDITED BY ANSI-ANAB with IAF (which is a non-compulsory association) CLICK THIS LINK BELOW- WTF DO YOU HAVE ON THE WALL??
PROBABLY ??????????

On the G-PMC, LLC company website a reference of a direct quote from the American National Accreditation Board (ANAB®) website (http://g-pmc.com/accreditation.pdf) states the following: “Is Your Certificate Accredited?

If your certificate was issued by an ANAB® accredited certification body (CB), the answer to this question is probably yes.”

Guberman asked, “What does ANAB® mean by ‘probably accredited?

He explained, “Probably guarantees nothing, the American National Accreditation Board (ANAB®) has the audacity to answer this ever so critical question about accreditation by confirming that certainty is impossible in this regard because the best they can offer as a so-called accreditation body is “probably,” that is an insult to all companies ISO certified by ANAB® accredited registrars and their customers.

“Let us run this through once again, here is a national accreditation body attempting to reassure their clients and potential clients about accreditation by their own approved certification bodies (Registrars), and the best that they can pledge in confidence is ‘probably’, it’s downright appalling.”
